Dear Mom, Dad, Reece & Remi,
Well, I made it safely to the mission home in Orlando! It’s dark and stormy outside and you can see the effects of hurricane Faye all around. Here it’s just a lot of water, but other places apparently had some damage done.
As soon as we got to the airport we were greeted by Sister Darrington and when we arrived at the mission home we were fed an amazing meal of lasagna, salad, and an amazing chocolate pie! After eating MTC food for 3 weeks this meal was Heavenly!
President and Sister Darrington are very nice and welcomed us into their home. Tomorrow I find out who my companion is and we will have a little orientation; then it’s off to work.
I gave a pass-a-long card to a grandma and her grandson sitting behind me on the plane. I hope she uses it. :-)

Well, I hope you are all doing well and are enjoying the new school year. Today (Monday) is our P-day and so far it has gone very well. I can’t wait to find out my area and companion tomorrow (and knock on my first door/place my first Book of Mormon through street contact)! I’ll let you know all about it next Monday when I write.
Take care everyone, I love you all and I hope you have lots of missionary opportunities. I’ll pray for you and I know I’ll be in your prayers. Talk to you next week.
Love,
Elder Ryan Miller
P.S.
They’re sending some good pics with this! :-)
